Butik and Wave join forces
As of March 1, 2024, Wave Agency and Butik started working even closer together.
Butik Agency has taken a majority stake in Wave Agency. Meja makes the opposite move and leaves Wave Agency after seven years. Wave Agency founder Kurt Tuypens and co-partner Koen Heyvaert remain on board and will continue to run the agency on a daily basis.
In recent years, Wave and Butik have already worked successfully together on a number of customers and there was also a good human connection. Wave wants to continue focusing on “converting fans into business” with a focus on sports, music and lifestyle.
After Covid, Wave Agency has experienced good growth in the past 2 years, with new (international) customers and projects. The proposition of both groups is very complementary and, thanks to their joint offerings, these companies are even stronger in the market. Thanks to the existing collaborations, the teams also know each other, which is a great advantage in this “people driven business”.
With the new partner, Wave Agency brings even more expertise on board and together they aim for further growth in the world of sports marketing and communication.
