With the acquisition of WiSEO, Ants, which already has offices in Ghent and Antwerp, will gain eight SEO experts and grow to more than 35 employees. The Bruges takeover follows that of the Antwerp Cosmos Collective last year.
This has made Ants one of the largest performance marketing agencies in the country.
The acquisition of WiSEO adds Pluxee, Colruyt Group, Van Marcke and VRT to Ants' customer list, among others. Frederik Vermeire, the founder of WiSEO, becomes a shareholder in Ants, which was founded in 2017 by Jacob Verroken (43) and Sam Stals (34).
Ants works for Eneco, Glowi, Degroof Petercam, Helan, Neckermann, Accent, NATO, Immoscoop, Barco and Vooruit, among others. The company places around one million euros in digital media budgets for its customers every month and is itself part of the Craftzing Group.
