Meja guided the digital marketing agency through a period of exceptional growth and strategic acquisitions. Three years after joining the Craftzing group, Ants is leaving the investment company’s portfolio. The management is taking back ownership of the digital marketing agency after a growth trajectory in which the company significantly strengthened its position in the Belgian market.
Since Meja’s investment in 2022, Ants has undergone a remarkable evolution. The team doubled to 37 marketers and revenue rose to more than 4 million euros in 2024, resulting in an average annual growth rate of over 75 percent across the last three years. During this period, Cosmos Collective (2023) and WiSEO (2024) were successfully integrated, positioning Ants as one of the most versatile performance marketing agencies in the country.
“Ants’ growth trajectory shows how complementary strengths within an ecosystem can reinforce one another,” says Maxim Dierckx, managing partner at Meja. “Together with Craftzing, we have built a professional and ambitious marketing organisation over the past years. It is great to see the team now ready to continue its journey independently.”
Jacob Verroken, CEO of Ants, shares the same view: “Our collaboration with Craftzing and Meja has made us stronger and more professional over the past three years. And this is not a farewell. We will continue to be each other’s preferred partners for digital projects.”
Craftzing CEO Roeland Tegenbos also highlights the strong connection: “The collaboration delivered great results and benefitted everyone involved. Doing business is fundamentally about working together and building trust.”
With Pieter Spiesschaert (ex Trustteam) joining as shareholder and CFO/COO, a new chapter begins for Ants. Meja wishes the team success as they continue their growth story.
